Description: The article provides guidelines for the formation of educational training programs in mining competence-based approach. Approaches to adapt the content of higher education in the mining industry with the requirements of a modern legal framework of higher education in Ukraine are demonstrated. The aim of the paper is to determine the conceptual foundations for the formation of educational training programs through the use of mining competence approach based on the regulatory framework of higher education in Ukraine.
