Description: This article is dedicated to the investigation of pedagogical and managements conditions of development of gender competence of heads of secondary educational institutions and for the preparation of undergraduates, as future leaders. The work analyzes main theoretical foundations of the investigation of problems relevant to gender and individualsE gender competence in pedagogical and managements science. The author considers the contents and components of gender competence of heads of secondary educational institutions as well as the levels and factors of their gender competence of managements. The writer has determined the pedagogical and managements conditions of development of gender competence and the formation of a gender-competent future leader of school principals as well as successfully tested a training course to develop gender competence of heads of secondary educational institutions which proves its high efficiency in the system of post-graduate pedagogical and managements training.
